Thing is, for everybody on this side in the Eastern time zone, I'm sure you'd ask every coach and they'd say they wouldn't like to go [to Birmingham]. The travel thing is huge.

[Football coach] David [Bennett] has done a fantastic job and so has [baseball coach] Gary Gilmore, ... That can only help us by bringing more attention to the great things going on at Coastal. That and the arena.

I'm sure it will be one heck of a battle. Winthrop again. We've been very fortunate to beat them twice in a row.

We ran a 2-3 zone and whichever side she was on, we stretched it to that side.

I grew up following Harry Gant and Morgan Shepard as a kid. I've always been a race fan. This is going to be fun for me.

I've been on the phone a lot. And hopefully [Coastal will get] a push from other people in the conference so these kids can continue to play.
