This agreement excludes a significant portion of our slaughter today. It's a good first step but we have to recognize it is just a first step, and that we need to be able to sell a wider array of products to Japan.

Today we are no closer (to an agreement). What we're dealing with here is an election campaign.

It has to be looked at in the context of whether this interim agreement is a valuable agreement and if releasing Pollard ... contributes to it. That's a presidential decision. That's why the president makes the big bucks.

It is an agreement that I believe is fair.
