This class is too close to give away anything. It was a difficult loss. I will continue to work on driving techniques and be ready when we get to Houston.

Economically, this is a very big setback and we will have to work hard to compensate for the loss in the years to come. It is a big loss to the economy,

We're not [a chemistry class]. We understand this. But [the students will] respect you if you respect them. As an advisor, I've found that you don't have to lead them around so much. They are adults, and we don't want to lead them like sheep.

Tonight I get to be Greg. Normally I run quick early and then he passes me up and gets all the glory. It's a bit of a surprise for us to run this good in high humidity because normally we struggle in these kinds of conditions. I'll take it.

I wasn't so worried about the car because Greg (Anderson, teammate) had been making runs in both our cars while I was off. You do wonder how sharp your driving is going to be. I was a little worried about that but I felt a lot better after making those runs earlier this week. I've had a great start to the year so this just continues it.
