This cold weather we've had the last few days didn't help. Being as shallow as it is, the bass here are very susceptible to cold fronts.

East Lake can be really, really good this time of year. I love fishing it. I've won several tournaments on that lake. Whenever I get a chance to fish that one, I fish it.

Consequently, you have to make pretty long casts because the fish can be spooked. It's a lot cleaner than West Lake.
