This could be our last game (before districts). We were really nervous. We had to step up. The little mistakes we were making, we knew what we needed to do to fix them. We did. That's why we got the win.

We broke no rules and we did it with good kids. Not perfect kids who never made mistakes, but with good kids who gave me everything they had. Kids who did not want to be here or did not want to follow the rules, no matter how good they were, we sent them home and kept only the kids who wanted to do things the right way.

Life is a series of lessons in which there is never enough learned.

We lost everything. Appliances, stove, refrigerator, furniture, everything.

I love Obama because he is proof all black people don't look alike. Nobody every told me, 'Good morning, Mr. President.' We don't all look alike.
