This does not grow the city. New developments do not want billboards. I want to make La Crosse more beautiful.

I live in a city that is billboards. Billboards and graffiti.

Given that we are a river community, it behooves us to look at the situation.

We are looking at things that perhaps we could get passed. There didn't seem to be community support to put a fence down the river.

I thought the council directed the legal department to work with the authors, but we have not had any input. I think we are racing into an ordinance that no one here knows anything about. If we are going to adopt something from the county, we have to spend some time to fit it for us.

I believe it would be well worth the $200 to allow each person to have a chance to vote, because this is such a crucial topic of our times.
