This egg incubation research is just one way that hatchery we at the hatchery continue to try and improve rearing efficiencies. Fisheries Chief Dennis Unkenholz, Technical Services Chief George Vandel and other Game, Fish and Parks administrators are to be commended for their wisdom and foresight encouraging all of the practical, applied research. These studies enable hatchery staff to innovate and more efficiently produce trout and salmon for the benefits of those who fish in South Dakota.
