This is a great comedy. It is just like any family. One minute they are fighting, and the next minute they are loving each other.

It's very stressful because there is such a short period for rehearsals. It allows us to become a very close-knit group very quickly, and that shows with the characters on stage. It's a real ensemble.

but the family is fighting back -- brother against brother.

It's not only sword fighting, it's also comedy.

No one fights dirtier or more brutally than blood; only family knows it’s own weaknesses, the exact placement of the heart. The tragedy is that one can still live with the force of hatred, feel infuriated that once you are born to another, that kinship lasts through life and death, immutable, unchanging, no matter how great the misdeed or betrayal. Blood cannot be denied, and perhaps that’s why we fight tooth and claw, because we cannot—being only human—put asunder what God has joined together.

There used to be so much tension when we were fighting to gain equality as partners with the police and state's attorney. Though we're still fighting for victims of domestic violence, we have police who are educated and a community that's aware. God, it's so different now.
