This is a new chapter for St. Mary' s football. Last year is in the past. These kids want to make their own mark.

Chris was one of the reasons we were successful last year. Teams can't put 10 men in the box to stop the run because he can go out and do some big things for us.

The defense held them to 10 points and stayed aggressive and attacked well.

Dwyer was good with our passing game. He did a great job.

We're not going to get away from our bread and butter, but we're adding more with the pass.

One thing that I think we should have done more was run the football. In the past, I've been very stubborn, and we should have given (Bines and Hicks) more chances to carry the ball. We have the ability to run the football and control the clock, and we have to do that and keep our defense off the field.
