This is a special Scouting program that the boys can earn a patch for. We thought this was a good time to try and fill the shelves of the local pantries.

There will be seven troops with boys ages six to 18 and adults helping as well. We hope to be able to get bags to most of the homes in the city limits.

This was a tough match to play, but you have to start some place. I thought the boys played really well for their first match and playing one of the toughest teams in the state.

The guys played good. They really got after it. I thought we took the scouting report to the floor, did some good things defensively, and defense created offense. We got a lot of good shots off our D.

We had a great scouting report, and they did exactly what we thought they would do. We just couldn't guard the dribble. Plus, they shot well. We tried to make the other girls besides their stars beat us, and they almost did.

I want them to replace the tires. I want their parents and the boys to come in to my house and sit down at our dining room table and tell my husband and I why they felt they needed to do this.
