This is entirely in the lap of the government at this point. It's up to the government to decide whether they want to prosecute Dr. Al-Arian on the basis of evidence rejected by this jury or if they want to deport Al-Arian, or if they'll allow him to live in the country in peace.

this is something that can be resolved. We live in a government of checks and balances and there are natural and not unhealthy tensions that have to be addressed ... I don't think it creates a fundamental dilemma that cannot be addressed. ... We think we can resolve it with reasonable people sitting down to clarify these things whether it be the order or the ordinance we're not in any confrontational way with the city.
