this is exactly what the beta is for -- to find the flaws now. We want people to kick the tires and tell us what they find out. We want to make sure all the extensions people use are readily portable. We're very good at responding to users.

They've really done a 180 on this. The new fix that they have in Beta right now for Outlook completely removes programmability except as manually authorized in each case by the user. And this will break, frankly, a large number of corporate applications, but for the general user this is the right thing to do.

From what I have seen so far of the Windows 2000 beta, calling Active Directory a directory in the same sense that NDS is a directory is ludicrous.

It would be really great if people would realize that stars are only people with the same weaknesses and flaws, not immaculate idols.

She could see the good in all people. See seemed to ignore the flaws and frailties.
