This is going to be the last hurrah.

For a lot of the guys, this is the final hurrah to go out with a bang.

Bill (Gerstenmaier) said that was Wayne's assessment at a particularly dark moment last week and we're already off that date,

This is the last hurrah for the current architecture. The next version of Microsoft's consumer operating system, Windows 2000, will be based on [a Windows] NT kernel. The business user transition from Windows 95 to NT Workstation is gradually emerging.

Why would we ever be assembled again after the 50th anniversary passes? ... We'll probably all go back to our lives in our homes or whatever. But to assemble us all again, it isn't likely to happen. We've had our last hurrah.

But at the same time, never having final cut before, I really learned an interesting thing for any studio executive who is reading this: that if a director has final cut, it's actually easier and more interesting to listen to notes.
