This is inexcusable! I have Shannon in great shape. We were back in the gym three days after the Mercer fight. As a fighter and a trainer, I consider their maneuver little more than cowardly,

I've just never understood why everybody tries to get the team in shape the first three or four days. I was in camps when I couldn't even walk the second day, let alone try to do something.

I don't think we lost because it was a shape issue; we literally played three days in a row and I don't think we lost because we were tired. I think we lost because we were overwhelmed by the situation, we got off in the latter part of the match. It's a learning lesson for us all, and we have a month to prepare for the tournament.

It's just a maturity, ... I felt like it was time to rededicate myself. I'm a big fan of classic boxing and when people think of me 100 years from now, I hope they say I really changed my career around to reach greatness.

Inexcusable. It really bothers me.

Three days off is a lot, it was enough.
