This is just going to require another ongoing battle for us, to make sure we can protect the women of South Dakota.

We provided a safe and legal abortion to a legal adult. She supplied documentation, a birth certificate, that she is legally an adult able to make her own health-care decisions, including having an abortion. This appears to be a very sad case of a breakdown of communication among family members. Clearly, she was a legal adult and wanted to make the decision alone without notifying her parents.

Clearly, those of us women who play football wish that there was more coverage. But it's one of those things that happens. Every year the level is getting higher, and I think we surprise a lot of people when the world focuses its attention on the World Cup or the Olympics final.

I think this will be a very challenging year for us ahead.

They have to take all of us. We will not move. I sincerely hope he feels protected. I don't want him to feel scared.

One of our problems is the culture of Brazil which focuses on men's football. Of course we would like to change that. Maybe one day we will have a strong competitive league instead of our women footballers always having to play abroad.
