This is my sixth year here and this is my proudest day.

Tracy was our leader tonight in getting our inside game going. It's the proudest I've been of him all year. We wanted to get our post game going and we did that.

Spencer is our most improved player. He just turned up the dial this year. He got more confident in his ball handling ability. He got more confident in his shooting ability. He's a smart kid. He works hard. He's one of those kids that always asks how he can improve certain aspects of his game and then he's out there working on it.

[She also wants a sixth-year exemption from the NCAA, so she can return to the Lobos.] We have 125 great guys on this team, and I haven't had one single incident, ... That's because of the standard  Coach [Rocky] Long sets here for behavior. There's no b.s.

When you see it and it breathes and you see young people and their parents and their eyes aglow, that's what really makes me proud.

And in Ft. Scott, it was pretty tough.
