This is nice counter-programming for T3, but with comedy sequels, you never know what you're going to get. If 'Legally Blonde' doesn't come up big, they're hurting for this year.

There is no better way to do this. They're taking a page out of Mel Gibson's play book for 'The Passion of the Christ' to let the media coverage sell the movie. All the coverage is better than ads.

The money's just coming in a different part of the release model since most of it's from DVD sales. This is still going to be one of the three biggest years in box office receipts, and by the way, they're bringing in $20 billion more in DVD revenue. So the studios are still getting their money. It's the exhibitors who have a concern.

I do expect a Noah's ark film and a Revelations film down the pike pretty quickly after this. A Ten Commandments remake isn't outside realm of possibility.

Everyone in California is thinking about him, and that's where the studios are.

They're really a financially conservative company. They are what they are -- they can do relatively small budget films with a nice potential upside.
