This is our fifth year, and we have had really good turnouts. It's a family-oriented event. It's such a wide selection of people.

It's just people who love the Lord. It's just a big old Christian jam session.

If this goes over well, we'll probably make this an annual event.

This is a good way to learn about our musical culture in a fun way. There will be a song contest where we play old records from the 1950s, '60s and '70s, and people will guess the song name and artist. If we get enough people interested, we may even have a dance contest where people can do the Twist or the Mashed Potato.

For some seniors, they have no kids or family. The services of a senior center are very important. We are so phenomenally lucky to have this set up this way.

Here I was coming up on 45 myself and thinking I don't want to do the family statistic thing and die young.
