This is part of a troubling pattern by the government of spying on peaceful groups.

The government should not spy on groups engaging in peaceful political protest. The FBI should focus its efforts on actual threats and not target people because of their political views.

I know that government doesn't have the all solutions that real solutions do not come from the top down. Instead, the ways to end poverty come from all of us. We are part of the solution.

The question is, are these government officials using their leverage over the university's budget and other things to extract a personal benefit to them that is inappropriate? I do think there is an ethical problem with this. But I would be surprised if this sort of practice is not widespread with sports franchises generally.

It's a rare occasion when we see government assessing and making government small.

Had it not been for these (government) programs, the number of uninsured would have increased even more in each of the past several years.
