This is something the kids will cherish for a lifetime, ... Even though we're not going to Williamsport we've made the state of Tennessee proud.

I think the teachers are just as excited as the kids. Many teachers told me they had difficulty sleeping because they had first day jitters.

It basically proves what we suspected for a long time -- that kids will reach whatever expectation you set for them.

Having watched their children grow up with a keyboard at their fingertips, parents know that their kids will inevitably turn to their computers for entertainment. And parents also know that downloading music is easy, prevalent and often illegal. These days, colleges and universities can offer alternatives that are just as easy and available, but more importantly to parents, legal.

This is an issue that every high school in the country deals with. Kids will be kids, and they make mistakes. But they have to be held accountable.
