This is the meet where we really start gearing up the for the sectional. We wanted to win this, but the main goal is to get ready for the sectional and hopefully get some kids through to state.

That was at the State Meet and we just told her to do what she had to do to win the race. She had run a 1:34 during her 1,000 last week so we knew she could go under that. This was just a chance to actually do it.

We had a bad start and it cost us. We haven't been going as good as we had been and that's definitely got to change.

Joe Scott, that's another quality start for him, and he got in the win column.

We focused our better individuals in the relays to get some points, and that really helped us out. Our relay teams did very well.

We've never won the boys end of it, so that was a big focus for us. It's hard to sustain a good program when you don't have the proper facilities. So to see how good this team performed and the character of these kids, it's just wonderful.
