This is truly a collaborative project, bringing in advisors from the nonprofit, the for-profit, the academic and the government sectors. We all have an interest in improving how we meet the needs of nonprofits.

We could, in fact, have the whole business in profit. But we want to keep growing. We did not get $10 million in the bank to earn interest.

If it had been a profit-maker and good for the students, then we probably would have kept it.

Through 2001 profit gains are expected to continue slowing, but get back to more sustainable levels. People are viewing this as terrible that growth is slowing, but that's going on the assumption that high double-digit growth is normal.
