This is two games in a row where we played terribly in the first half and just had an awesome second half. I told the girls that they've got to help my nerves and be more consistent.

Her teams ran the fast break better than any other team I've ever seen. We spent 19 years as rivals, but we were also the best of coaching friends. We shared information and talked all the time. That's what I'm going to miss most.

When we got the lead, I thought we could do it. That was just a nice shot that Spence made in the corner. Then we thought we had a chance. We almost did it.

We had to control the tempo to win. For the most part, we did.

We're getting there. But I'd like to see even more consistency from out bench and more scoring from everyone on the floor.

Last year, our goal was to win at least three games, because that's something no Division 1 team without a senior class had ever done before. We ended up 2-7, which didn't sit well with anybody around here. We have everybody returning from last year's team and a lot of them have game experience, which puts us in a unique situation this season.
