This might have been our last home game, but we hope not. We're going to try and fight for a (state tournament game) in here.

I would hope for extra bases. Definitely not a home run.

We now start a five-game home stand and hope to seal up a playoff spot while we are at it.

We hope to bring home a state trophy again. That's a tough deal because no one has ever brought home the trophy two years in a row. But there's a first for everything.

It's nice, it's comfortable to be at home. We're undefeated at home so far this year, so we hope to keep that streak going.

Giving us the 12th seed was the best thing they did for us. No one ever expects you to do anything but lose the first game ... we were so happy to get that seed. It motivated us. Every game, we tried that much more and played that much better. We all had it in our minds we wanted to make it to the state championship.
