This project was designed to recognized the contributions of the many women in our community.

What I'm looking to do is get the community involved and see their family's history preserved here.

There are so many pioneering families in our city. It's going to be our job to decide which information is most important.

We're thrilled with the turnout. It's wonderful that the community responds to this event year after year.

Whenever I talk with community groups about how to blend the community with the diverse population we have here, the language barrier is always the No. 1 obstacle. It seems to be holding the community back; we want them to be able to embrace the diversity that's here.
