This season things were a little different for us. We were and are confident, but the level of competition is much higher.

We waited for the release which is usually released on Friday night. I never received word so the waiting added a bit more drama, but looking back now it was worth it.

I am thrilled. Being a first-year program you never really know what to expect, but this is very big for our program, especially the fact that it gets us free hotel rooms.

We were picked 10th out of 11 teams coming in. That motivated us to work hard and it shows in how we're doing.

It's been pretty tough. But the coaches have done a great job of keeping the game fun for us. Coach Ingle stresses what he calls 'backyard basketball.' When you've got your best friends playing alongside you, you're playing for more than just the game. You don't want to let each other down.

We've done something good to get to the quarterfinals, but it's nothing. If the competition ends here (for us), then we've done nothing. It's not very important that we're here. We'll see later.
