This was a big win for us heading into the district. We need to build some momentum.

Our defense was the difference for us in this game. We knew going in that they were not a good three-point shooting team. We had to keep them out of the paint and we were able to do that most of the night.

That's the way I like to do it. I like to win a game one year, take a year off and then come back and win again.

I've taken criticism from the first day. It's been hard this year, no question. The incident with Kyle shocked us. But we're not recruiting with a win-at-all-costs attitude. I think what has happened this year with us is some guys are making decisions without thinking about the team.

Both of us train for the long ball. So to see him come out and do that, I'm happy for him; I really am. He's had a lot of success, especially against us.
