This was an extremely difficult decision for Siemens to make. However, the business has been losing money for eight years despite our attempts to improve operational efficiencies and introduce new products.

It was simply a strategic business decision as to where to invest our money. There was a lengthy evaluation process and we gathered information in order to make a strategic business decision. We put a lot of time and effort to consider bidding on the naming rights, but in the end we decided to bid solely on the pouring rights.
