This was going to be for basketball only. I didn't want us to move over here.

We've got a lot of Golden people here. The school is here, both basketball teams and a lot of the town. They supported her and that's great.

It was just good for us to play solid basketball. We had been struggling lately, even though we were winning some games. We got a great effort from everyone we put out on the floor.

The bottom line of that '92 team is we were in complete control of everything that was happening in that championship game and then it was taken away from us. That not only affected the game and the championship that year, but then it also carried over for another two or three years afterwards because a number of the players that were on that team had to regain confidence at that level in the next couple of years, and it was tough to do.

We had a pretty good mixture of type of players. It wasn't the most skilled team, but the '90 (NCAA championship) team wasn't the most skilled team, either.

I didn't even know the Armory had a basketball floor before this team. I went to a concert there and that was pretty cool. Maybe we can put on a show.
