This was huge. We're very happy. It put us closer to achieving our team goal (of earning a state tournament berth).

That win was huge for us in more ways than one. First, it gives our kids confidence they can play with anyone. Second, it gives us momentum into the final week of the season. And third, it keeps us alive in the playoff hunt.

If it comes down to that, it'll be left up to a coin toss. We just hope it doesn't come to that.

Kyle did a great job on the mound and we played the best defense we've played all year. We thought this would come down to defense. We knew we were going up against two of the best pitchers in the conference.

He was a big surprise. He really stepped up for us.

He (Eden) has been big for us rebounding, defensively and shooting. I wouldn't say a surprise for this year, but he's a kid who has stepped up over and beyond what I expected for him this year. And David Spencer had a heck of a game. He's a kid that's getting better and better every night. He's a junior that's only been playing since eighth grade, so he's going to get better and better as the year goes on, too.
