This was just a really, really positive move. It shows that they (trustees) are people of integrity.

I see it as a positive step to protect the integrity of the sport. I have always viewed the winter option as detrimental when fall and spring are considered.

You don't refuse to do the right thing because there's a risk involved. Tom Buchanan belongs on the short list.

My sense is that the support among faculty and staff for Tom is just wide and deep. He's done an excellent job.

We can't create review content ourselves. It's very candid. When they're positive, we could never write anything so nice. As far as negative reviews go, we appreciate those too. We don't think anyone can be an ostrich, especially online.

I tell people that they've proven they have the structural integrity to do this, and don't be afraid, get in there and try it. More often they're able to do it, and then some.
