This whole issue is about who's winning. If we didn't have class sports we wouldn't have this debate. But Hobart wouldn't have all those state football titles, either.

Each one has its own gimmick. You see all the new bats during the College World Series and that's the new line for the following (prep) season. You've got the top of the line all the way down to the ones that supposedly aren't as good. What's the difference? Price? Nobody seems to know the answers. The companies say there are differences, but I don't think I see the ball going any farther or coming off the bat any faster.

We can't even throw a ball 100 feet inside our building. How can we compete with that?

If their freshmen test score is in the top 10, we give those 10 kids $1,000.

We're not going to tolerate this.

It is the most exciting thing in sports. Winning one like this definitely never gets old.
