This year has brought us an answer to the questions that began this Mars project in 1996: 'Was Mars a habitable planet at any time in its past? Did water ever persist on the planet's surface?

It's almost like dodging a bullet. It's going to take a few trips around the planet to know for sure, but from what we can see so far it's a near-perfect entry into the orbit.

We think that conditions like those today have existed for billions of years.

Our defense stepped up tonight. We are fighting some (illnesses), but we really pulled together in the back and covered each other. This was one of our tougher games. It was a close match and I was really pleased that we came away with the win.

Our passing game has really improved this season. Tonight, we were passing around the other team, which created a lot of opportunities.
