Those two are just quality kids and quality athletes. They just read each other and have a non-verbal communication. They're winners.

Other than the penalties (six for 57 yards), I was very happy with our performance. Our execution and defense was very good. I'm happy with being able to shut out Lakeview.

Right now we're just not a very good football team. In the end, we did what we had to do but it sure was ugly. But I'll take an ugly win over a pretty loss any day.

This award is a great way to recognize the quality of student athletes who are wrestling in the U.P.. These kids are great role models. It's a well deserved honor.

Gina has elevated the program to a consistency where we have quality athletes, and she's provided them with outstanding coaching. The little things she does, caring about tutoring and study hall, those parts of it were never done before. She's a counselor and a coach.

We feel Florida provides enough skill athletes. There are a lot of quality linemen in Texas.
