To be able to increase self-understanding, solitude is your best friend.

I'm no stranger to ridicule at every turn on a daily basis. I'm mostly quiet and reflective. I mind my own business. I concentrate on the job at hand until it's complete. I leave my workplace alone. I live alone. I must be doing things that make most people ridiculous!

The more I tried to live my life on other people's terms, the more I kept thinking that I'm wrong; wrong about my identity, wrong about my feelings, wrong about my style of communication, and what I wanted to do in life. Then suddenly I realized that there must be something grossly wrong with this sort of approach to life. That was the beginning of my journey of self discovery.

Self discipline is a right that no one can wrong except yourself.
