To be aristocratic in Art one must avoid polite society

A great artist is always before his time or behind it.

What strikes me is the fact that in our society, art has become something which is only related to objects, and not to individuals, or to life.

Christians are offended at many things in today's society,

Isn't art great when you walk by and you say, 'hmmm, I kind of like that.' Isn't that great? ... I don't think art is for the few little elitists at some gallery.

A work of art has no importance whatever to society. It is only important to the individual.
