To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.

Whenever I hear music, and whenever I'm on stage, especially with my music, it's like a part of me, my music; whenever I hear music, it's magic. I'm not as happy offstage as I am on. That's the thing. Whenever the music stops, that's when I shrink back down. I'm not as happy.

Creativity happens only when ego is absent,when you are relaxed, in deep rest, when there is really no desire to do something. Suddenly you are gripped;some unknown force overwhelms you,takes possession of you.

The end product of imagination is creativity, and the end product of creativity is beauty.

Love is prayerfulness groping toward godliness. Love is poetry born out of the sheer joy of being. Love is song, dance, celebration: a song of gratitude, a dance of thankfulness, celebration for no reason at all, for this tremendous gift that goes on showering on us, for this whole universe, from the dust to the divine.
