To find a job, have a better family and to get their kids to go to school.

Because I have family that are in Mexico.

If they can at least give them a chance to come over here, maybe they can make the world a little different.

A different kind of family, I guess. Mom went to nursing school after having five kids, and Dad is a road construction foreman. Pretty cool people. I guess you call them hippies. They met at a music festival in Colorado. Dad was leaning against a tree, playing a flute, and Mom walked by and caught his eye. That's the way they tell the story.

We have two kids, so our family life is very sort of mundane... take the kids to school, ballet, baseball and all of that. I like to go see movies, travel... but I love being with the family... going to Disney or something like that.

The theory is that as kids get connected to their school, family and community, they're less likely to use (drugs).
