To reform the world - means to reform upbringing...

Children are not the people of tomorrow, but are people of today. They have a right to be taken seriously, and to be treated with tenderness and respect. They should be allowed to grow into whoever they were meant to be. 'The unknown person' inside of them is our hope for the future.

It's not our job to toughen our children up to face a cruel and heartless world. It's our job to raise children who will make the world a little less cruel and heartless.

The not-so-fun side of parenting is tough but we must raise functional, thinking, future adults. The reward will be great later on.

The miracle of children is that we just don’t know how they will change or who they will become.

The path of development is a journey of discovery that is clear only in retrospect, and it’s rarely a straight line.
