To stand on the
brink of what is coming, feeling eager, optimistic anticipation—with no feeling of impatience, doubt, or
unworthiness hindering the receiving of it—that is the Science of Deliberate Creation at its best.

He soon felt that the fulfillment of his desires gave him only one grain of the mountain of happiness he had expected. This fulfillment showed him the eternal error men make in imagining that their happiness depends on the realization of their desires.

Loving and being loved affirmed one's sense of self and conquered feelings of loneliness and alienation. It kept one sane.

Perhaps that is why desire causes men calamity. By identifying with our desires and taking them too seriously, we not only increase our susceptibility to disappointment, we actually create a climate inhospitable to the free and easy fulfillment of those desires.

When working with the Universal Laws you are working with the laws of manifestation, not instant gratification ...
