To tear down any (historical) house for a parking lot is not good. The whole point of a local register is to preserve our heritage.

To capture sound is to isolate a moment, canonize it, enter it into the historical register.

It was good that we were able to come back and get a point, but there's not much else to say. We got a point, and we have to just take that as a positive and go to the next game. I think we showed some character in the end.

I wanted to be a novelist from a very early age - 11 or 12 - but I don't think I ever thought I would write historical fiction. I never thought I might write academic history because I simply wasn't good enough!

There are so many stories and so many important people buried here. Our hope is that we can do this every year and learn more about the people.

It's just a small-town, down-home parade that we really encourage all the entries to just have fun with it.
