To think we'd beat them by 27 again would be ludicrous. They have good players. They guarded Andre and they made threes… I think we were a little tight tonight — we just didn't defend very well.

I'm a little hesitant to anoint this team. I'm still very guarded about who we are. We still haven't beat anybody of note, other than North Carolina, and even Carolina came to town with a new team and on a night when we played our best.

I think not only do area teams have some good No. 1 singles players, they also have plenty of depth. What makes a team capable of going to state finals is their ability to fill other girls in.

This was the easiest team to coach because these guys were the most focused group. We had no off-court issues and no problems of any kind in terms of trying to motivate.

He's just got a knack for hitting closely guarded shots. And there aren't many players who can do that.
