Today was uneventful, I hit very little close and when I did nothing went in. I need to have a good putting day to have a chance and salvage the tournament.

I had my troubles today. It was just one of those days I played a little sloppy.

I could sense a little fatigue in that I got a little careless, mentally careless, out there today. But the conditions are perfect. With soft greens and no wind it's easy to get to the hole. I think [the winning score] will be pretty low.

You take what the course gives you. After the 30 on the front side today, I started thinking about that magic number and it starts with a five (59). I choked. But it's a good start to the season for me. I ended last year with a 64 and started this one with a 63.

The scoring conditions were ideal with no wind and I played well today. It was a good ball-striking day but I could have putted a little better.

I got it going pretty good today and overall the week was pretty good. Now I'm going home and rest.
