Today we are actually redoing a house. Cleaning it up and repainting and getting it ready to place a family in that was a victim of Hurricane Katrina.

It's very touching when people come from out of our community into Meridian and Lauderdale County to work with us. Especially on the hurricane relief.

From late March through April, that will be our heaviest schedule. We'll have several houses going, and we'll need between 40-60 volunteers a week.

I live a different way today. I have a family, and they are a priority for me. These days, I no longer wake up in the morning and worry if my bass is tuned properly and practice for hours and hours on end. I don't perform as much, but when I do, there's such magic to working in front of a live audience.

Today the family is being attacked and defended with equal vehemence.

Today our beloved husband, father and friend passed away. His family appreciates your thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of Reggie White. We want to thank you in advance for honoring our privacy.
