Tons and tons and tons (of drugs and violence). I have friends who have been shot and who have been killed.

I grew up with gang violence. They tried to suck me in, but I wouldn't do it. I kinda got sucked in for a while, but my grandma basically raised me, and her dying wish was for me to stop doing that. An hour later -- she told me that when she was in the hospital -- I got a call saying she had died. Her dying wish was for me to succeed. I'm the first person in my family to go to college.

I learned to be a little patient and more humble. That carried over to playing behind Jerome. I was playing behind Jerome and enjoying the view.

I've lived in two worlds.

There was no force, no violence, no drugs whatsoever administered on her. There was no rape.

The most insidious influence on the young is not violence, drugs, tobacco, drink or sexual perversion, but our pursuit of the trivial and our tolerance of the third rate.
