Too many seniors are trying to take the bare minimum to get to graduation as opposed to taking advantage of it.

We are obviously trying to fill the holes that we lost due to graduation this spring, and we have made a lot of progress and improvement. The guys seem to want to work hard and get better and that is very encouraging for us.

I'm just trying to learn as much as I can every day. I've got some great guys in front of me and great coaches around me,

I don't begrudge anyone for trying to make a name for himself. But you do have to be careful. You're in the public eye, and you're going to be scrutinized.

I'm not coaching and trying to win to keep my job, ... I coach for my players and my coaches and for the fans to have success. Someone is going to have success at Vanderbilt. I hope it's me and this staff. This staff has worked extremely hard. But if it's not, I don't coach out of fear of losing my job.

We came into tonight's game trying to cut off some of his passing angles, ... We did not follow the game plan and [he] just shredded us tonight, shredded us to pieces.
