Too young to care; Too old to change.

I was young and foolish then; now I am old and foolish

That's the trouble with you young people. You think because you ain't been here long, you know everything. In my life I already forgot more than you ever know.

When you're young, the question is "What can you do for me?" and when you're old the question is "What can I do for you?"

As we grow old the vigour of youth is exchanged for life experience and wisdom.

The Little Boy and the Old Man

Said the little boy, "Sometimes I drop my spoon."
Said the old man, "I do that too."
The little boy whispered, "I wet my pants."
I do that too," laughed the little old man.
Said the little boy, "I often cry."
The old man nodded, "So do I."
But worst of all," said the boy, "it seems
Grown-ups don't pay attention to me."
And he felt the warmth of a wrinkled old hand.
I know what you mean," said the little old man.
