Traffic will be disrupted in the CBD from 10:00.

The operation was launched on 2 December 2005 and targeted drunk drivers. We managed to arrest more than 240 drivers from the launch date to 31 December for driving under the influence.

They are warned not to ignite fireworks where animals are present. This carries a R1 000 penalty.

People must exercise caution and drive carefully.

It all boils down to drivers being extra cautious.
