Trouble is, kids feel they have to shock their elders and each generation grows up into something harder to shock.

I'm in shock how comfortable I feel.

There are a lot of complaints by the older generation about the lack of action in this generation. My retort: give these people something to be engaged in. Cutting a check is not engaging.

What we want to see is ... people get more money in their pockets sooner, ... There's some trouble out there, apparently, with the economy, and we want to see people have larger paychecks so that they can either pay down their debt (or) use it for some spending that they may want to do.
