Troy has done a nice job. I think he has kind of taken off where he left off last year, being a great leader and throwing the ball very well.

There's a major difference in his receiver play. He's understanding things a whole lot better. I think he was kind of sitting in the wings a little bit last year. Now he's stepped out and he's making a lot of plays.

Both of those guys are playing real well right now.

It was interesting. He said he didn't play on this course well at all, and I told him that was ridiculous to let a course get inside your head.

The experience at state last year was fantastic. We wish it would have been a little more fantastic. It sounds like sour grapes that we were disappointed with finishing third, but we felt like we were strong enough that we could have done better than that.

Here's what I feel comfortable saying. I think we will be able to compete with any of the teams that we will meet in tournaments.
